Trust Tributes are a great way to support the Educational Trust and simultaneously recognize a sister for a professional or personal milestone or accomplishment. Examples include service to the Fraternity, awards from LKS or other organizations, marriage, birth of a child, or “just because”. The 1974 Society was established in 2022 in anticipation of the Trust’s 50th anniversary. Any member who donates a minimum of $19.74 from during the year from convention to the week preceeding the next convention becomes a member of the 1974 society and will receive an exclusive gift to recognize their contribution. As Lambda Kappa Sigma has had an impact on your life since pharmacy school, so can your life have an impact on Lambda Kappa Sigma through a planned gift. Planned giving is the pathway for members to ensure the continuous growth of the LKS Educational Trust. A planned gift provides members the opportunity to make financial plans that include several options that are mutually beneficial to the member as well as the trust. A common means of making a planned gift is through a bequest in a will. Bequests can take on the form of gifts of cash but can also provide for the transfer of stocks, mutual funds, 401Ks, and IRAs.
